HISTORY
The Creche Flu
Gideon was an infant when this happened, but she was the only child to survive. This was an intentional culling and the fact that she survived something that killed all the other children and blinded the great-aunts who released the poison left the Reverend Father and Mother (the rulers) of the Ninth House terrified of Gideon. This led to neglect and cruelty, with both Heads of the Ninth House regarding her with dread. All the other denizens of the Ninth took their lead from their rulers and treated Gideon like an outcast. Mistaking fear for hatred/disgust, Gideon grew up believing she was reviled for being an outsider, and was intensely lonely. She quite desperately wants to be liked and wants to prove her worth in battle because of this rejection.


ABILITIES
ABILITY Swordswoman - Gideon is an expert with a longsword and far better with a rapier than she has any right to be. She’s something of a prodigy when it comes to fighting with swords. Strength – This girl works out HARD. She likes to keep herself in peak physical condition and it pays off in terms of physical strength. Think top of the range for a normal human. She’d be as handy in a no-weapons brawl as she would with her sword. Durability - Her canon has only alluded to supernatural abilities, so this isn’t something I’ll lean into. Basically she’s ‘hard to kill’. She didn’t die from the poisoning that killed all the children of the Ninth House and recovered fast from the siphoning trial in Canaan House. However, she can die or get hurt. I’ll play it down because of this and just go with she’s a bit more durable than your average human.

> Werewolf with a touch of the divine. Around week six she’d still be distinctly humanoid but with fangs and fur, claws, ears and tail, a bit like this. Her eyes, already golden, will take on an uncanny glow and her skin will start to radiate heat, but she’d still be discernibly herself. Come full transformation though, she’ll take on a full wolf-like form, twelve feet tall when standing on her hind legs, six feet from paws to withers. She’ll be a creature of fur and muscle and exposed bone. Through her ribs, eyes, mouth, a gash across her throat and a gaping wound in her chest, an eerie golden light will pour through that gives off an intense heat. Something like This and this. She has a flaming halo hovering over her lupine head.

Driven by her most primal instincts, she is a near-feral creature and difficult to control. However, to gain her loyalty/protection in this form she would have to be physically forced ‘to the floor’ in a show of power and strength that demonstrates someone as her Alpha.
